Confeitaria Colombo, Rio de Janeiro

The Confeitaria Colombo (Colombo Confectionery) is almost 130 years old and is located in the city center of Rio de Janeiro.

As well as being a very charming place, it has hosted historical figures, but there is one employee who has worked there for 71 years, the waiter is called Orlando Duque, who has served celebrities such as former presidents Getúlio Vargas and Juscelino Kubitschek.

He still remembers their favorite dishes and other famous names he served there, but he says that with so many important events in this place, the best one for him was meeting his wife almost 60 years ago, right here, in this incredible place.
