The eye, The monster, In the movie
A photo motiv in a shop window. It clearly depends on the position, the motif and the brightness of the background and the motif. These photos are not manipulated, they are each a single photo.
It fascinates me and I have taken several photos on this basis, even street advertising (behind glass) makes for great pictures. As beauty and fascination are always in the eye of the beholder, it depends of course, for me it is fascinating.
However, you could also define it as a self-portrait, as you are always part of the photo.
The eye:
This photo was taken in Weinheim, Germany. To be honest, I have no idea what kind of advertising poster it was, but this small section was reason enough to take it. Here the foreground is the actual motif, the background is a small piece of Weinheim.
The monster:
In this photo, the background has moved into the foreground. I love this "monster" that watches me and steps on my feet.
I came across the monster in San Marino Cítta in front of the Museo Creature della Notte - Vampiri e Licantropi.
The movie:
This time at a bus stop in the Portuguese capital Lisbon. This is where I "beamed" myself into the movie poster.
